ProPath Studies – Digital Training Badge

Terms & Conditions of Use

1. Badge Ownership

The ProPath Studies Digital Training Badge remains the intellectual property of ProPath Studies.
Completion of a course grants the participant a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the badge in accordance with these terms.

2. Eligibility to Use the Badge

The digital badge may only be used by:

  • Individuals who have successfully completed the relevant ProPath Studies course
  • Businesses only for staff members who have personally completed the training

The badge must not be used by untrained individuals or staff who have not completed the course.

3. Annual Renewal Requirement

✅ The digital badge is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

To continue using the badge:

  • The badge holder must renew annually
  • Renewal may include refresher training, reassessment, or payment of a renewal fee as determined by ProPath Studies

❗ Failure to renew means:

  • The right to use the badge automatically expires
  • The badge must be removed immediately from all platforms, including:
    • Vehicles
    • Email signatures
    • Websites
    • Social media
    • Marketing materials
    • Signage

Use of the badge after expiry is strictly prohibited.

4. Permitted Uses

The digital badge may be used for marketing and professional representation, including but not limited to:

  • Company vehicles (vans, trucks, trailers)
  • Email signatures
  • Business websites
  • Social media profiles and posts
  • Quotes, invoices, proposals, and tenders
  • Business signage and promotional materials

All use must be accurate, truthful, and not misleading.

5. Prohibited Uses

The badge must NOT be:

  • Altered, edited, recoloured, distorted, or modified in any way
  • Used to imply licensing, regulatory approval, or government accreditation
  • Used after expiry, non-renewal, suspension, or revocation
  • Sold, shared, transferred, or sublicensed to another person or business
  • Used by former employees who have left the business
  • Used in any way that may damage the reputation of ProPath Studies
6. Representation & Claims

The badge confirms completion of professional training only.
It does not:

  • Guarantee competency beyond the scope of the course
  • Replace legal, licensing, or regulatory requirements
  • Certify business-wide compliance or accreditation

All claims made alongside the badge must be factually correct.

7. Revocation of Badge Rights

ProPath Studies reserves the right to suspend or revoke badge usage at any time if:

  • The badge is misused or misrepresented
  • Annual renewal requirements are not met
  • False or misleading claims are made
  • The individual or business engages in unethical or unprofessional conduct

Upon revocation, all use must cease immediately.

8. Liability

ProPath Studies accepts no liability for:

  • Work performed by badge holders
  • Claims made to clients
  • Losses, damages, or disputes arising from badge use

Service quality and legal compliance remain the responsibility of the badge holder.

9. Updates to Terms

ProPath Studies may update these terms at any time.
Continued use of the badge indicates acceptance of the current version of these Terms & Conditions.

10. Acceptance

By using the ProPath Studies Digital Training Badge, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including the annual renewal requirement.
