Warehouse Assistant/Pick Packer

Gram Engineering Pty Ltd is currently seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant/Pick Packer for our busy manufacturing office located in Smithfield. Gram is a leading Fencing Manufacturer and is looking for a reliable individual to join our team. Please note this role is full time and requires full availability and has the opportunity for overtime and weekend work.
We are seeking a reliable candidate that is fit and healthy.
Duties will include but not limited to:
– Picking and packing orders
– Receiving and/or dispatch
– Ensuring efficient, accurate receiving, put away, and/or dispatch of product
– General housekeeping of warehouse
The Successful Candidate must:
– Be physically fit
– Ability to perform manual handling/heavy lifting when required
– Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
– Have a strong understanding of safe work practises
– Have good communication and organisational skills
– Be highly attentive to detail
– Be able to work autonomously or part of a team
We are looking for an experienced ‘hands-on’ candidate who is capable of exceeding our customer expectations and operational efficiencies. This is a physically demanding and repetitive role. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are critical to this role and you must be able to work within a close-knit team environment. Ideally you will be looking for long term employment within a supportive company were the team camaraderie is strong and everyone is working towards the same goals, deadlines and challenging targets.
