Warehouse Operations – Casual

We are looking for a reliable, physically fit and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our team in Alexandria.
This is a hands-on role working with perishable produce in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, so reliability, a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently under time pressure are essential.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of warehouse and freight-handling duties, including:
Loading and unloading freight
Operating a forklift
Repetitive manual lifting and handling of produce
Moving and preparing freight for dispatch
Working to strict timeframes in a time-sensitive environment
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Working as part of a team to ensure freight is processed efficiently and on time
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a current forklift licence – this is essential
Is physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual lifting
Is reliable and comfortable with 2:00am starts
Has previous warehouse experience
Has a strong work ethic and is prepared to work hard
Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Has good attention to detail and understands the importance of meeting deadlines
Can work well as part of a team
Experience in international freight, logistics or handling airfreight would be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right person.
